The Banjaluka Earthquake, 26th and 27th October 1969

As part of cooperation between cultural institutions of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, the exhibition entitled The Banjaluka Earthquake, 26th and 27th October 1969, was opened by Nebojša Radmanović, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Republic of Srpska. Using archival materials, the author of the exhibition Verica Stošić reminded the audience of the three devastating earthquakes which struck Bosanska Krajina on 26th October, 27th October and 31st December 1969. These earthquakes affected 15 municipalities comprising an area of 9,000 square kilometres, and 700,000 people. The esteemed guest from the Republic of Srpska Nebojša Radmanović and other guests were greeted by the host of the exhibition Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia.
