The Archives of Yugoslavia prepared the exhibition of archival documents "BELGRADE-COPENHAGEN, 100 Years of Diplomatic Relations 1917-2017" marking 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations of two countries. This exhibition was realized through mutual relation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Belgrade and Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and is one among the number of manifestations marking this jubilee. Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia Dr. Milan Terzić greeted representatives of the diplomatic corps in the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the scientific and cultural public present at the opening of the exhibition in the Archives of Yugoslavia on December 11, 2017, pointing out that this relation was established in the hearth of the First World War 1917. Upon the address of the Director of the Archives, professor Per Jakobsson, Slavist , Danish and Serbian academician , founder of the Serbian Department in Denmark, translator of the works of Andrić, Selimović, Tišma and H.E. Anders Christian Hougård  the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Belgrade highlighted that the exhibition presents "the crown of celebration of this anniversary". Aleksandra Fulgosi, Assistant to the Minister of Culture in front of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia opened the exhibition pointing out the importance of preservation of the cultural heritage, stating that the Archives of Yugoslavia preserve invaluable archival material. She said that this exhibiting is signpost for the future cooperation between two countries. The authors of this exhibition as well as the authors of the appropriated catalogue in three languages are Jelena Djurišić and Miroslava Medaković. Presented documents  show  the beginning and the development of diplomatic relations, opening of diplomatic missions – Ligations and lifting it up to the level of the embassy, diplomats representing two countries booth in Belgrade and Copenhagen, visits and negotiations of the high officials of both countries: chiefs of the states, prime ministers, ministers of foreign affairs and the ministers from the other fields, presidents of the parliaments who contributed to the development and improvement of relations between two countries. Documents and photographs presented at the exhibition are part of the fonds and collections of the Archives of Yugoslavia, Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Museum of Yugoslavia and the National Archives of Denmark. 

The exhibition will be opened till January 15, 2018 every working day (Monday-Friday) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
